"A beautiful country house run by a family with just 8 rooms just 2.5 km away from Potes. A good choice for one who prefers to stay a little bit away from the city centre. We chose this place because we drive and the very good price. It turned out to be a real gem as the owner and son went out of their way to give us very good recommendations for nature walks, etc. We also took an evening walk to Potes, which was 30 minutes each way. "A pretty drive in the country to get to this location which is quiet and relaxing. Our host was very gracious and helpful. We do not speak Spanish and he went out of his way to give us great recommendations for the area. Our dinner was vey tasty and well worth the extra charge. So much food served in a gazebo msde for a pleasant evening. Loved the location."

"We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. "The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...
