They were making some construction updates to the hotel while we stayed and as a result we had some issues with our room and the gentleman at the front desk was so incredibly helpful. And they gave us so much great advice about where to park and what to do nearby. The room was small but matched the listed description, so it was exactly upon our expectations. Would stay here again. "Manoir du Parc is an exceptional hotel. It is a beautiful mansion with lovely high-ceilinged rooms and perfect French decor. It has a small private park and swimming pool. "The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. "Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"The two of us had a delightful stay at Le Petite Vigne. We were cycling town to town and there was a place to secure our bikes which we appreciated. The house is lovely, old and full of character. We were greeted by the hostess Stephanie (and a cat named Bolo) after letting ourselves in the front. She is the nicest, sweetest lady we met on our entire trip! "Our room was very convenient and super clean. The location of this hotel is extremely practical as you go and visit many Castles around in a day trip. There are stores and shop nearby as well. The staff is useful and friendly Unfortunately and unlike advertised, the Wi-Fi is only available in the main building and not the rooms. That might be a small problems for others but since I was coming on a business trip that ended being a huge issue for me at night. This should be better advertised. Also...
