"This is the best hotel in the City of Manaus. The professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of common areas as well as room, the awesome breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant Fitz were some of the highlights. The hotel is very attractive and appropriately ‘Amazonic’ but with a modernist influence. The pool is beautiful as well as the lush gardens around it. Villa Amazônia is located downtown and steps away from the Amazonas Theater… a great place to be."

"We were in transit after a very early morning arrival in Manaus. This was a hotel we chose just for one night and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Yes, this is a European budget chain so the rooms are tourist class, inexpensively but practically furnished, spartan, cozy/small. Think entry level cruise ship cabin. "Upon checking in we were informed of a R$84 service fee even though we had reserved and paid in advance through Expedia. Then we were informed that the pool was closed for the day. The check in process took about 25 minutes and then they were unable to give us key cards for our room. Each time we wanted to get into our room someone from the hotel had to go with us to let us in. At 10:30 pm at night someone knocked on our door to give us a key card. Other than this, everything else was great. "

"We stayed in two hotel in Manaus—both in similar location and similar price. Blue Tree was a much better option—rooms are cleaner, food is better, and it’s closer to shopping mall and good restaurants. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Internet is good. "

"Friendly service and staff… however, NOT worth the price of $40 per night, when I could have spent $47 per night at the Marriott sister hotel near the airport. Room felt like a garage, more like a storage room. The window had no view and was disrupted by foliage. Breakfast was decent, but not worth the price. Extremely disappointing!"
