"Location and accommodation was lovely. Owners were lovely although difficult to locate on expiry. Didn’t get to see them to say goodbye. Only downside was the shower/bath in the large rear bedroom did not work as there was no cold water coming through. A thermostatic cartridge problem maybe. So had to share another en-suite!"

"Set in isolated rural village with lovely views and walks. Our vist was marred by horrendous wet weather,but we made the best of it. Mark and Madeline were lovely people who made us welcome and dealt with any issues and gave advice about the area."

"We have just spent 2 nights at the barn. The rooms are extremely spacious and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us which included 4 adults and two children. One bedroom had an en-suite bathroom with fabulous shower and the other two bedrooms shared a bathroom. "A home from home. Comfortable, peaceful and with everything we needed. We would love to stay again. In a rural location but also close to lots of interesting places with a car."

"When we first arrived at this cottage, we couldn't believe our eyes. It is a large house but with a cosy cottage feel and is so clean. Upon arrival we found that milk and a bottle of wine had been left in the fridge for us which was a lovely surprise. The house was extremely warm and this was without using the log burner. Everything had been decorated to a high standard and it was a pleasure staying here. Burley itself is a quaint little village with a couple of pubs, tea rooms and a few shops....
