"When we first arrived at this cottage, we couldn't believe our eyes. It is a large house but with a cosy cottage feel and is so clean. Upon arrival we found that milk and a bottle of wine had been left in the fridge for us which was a lovely surprise. The house was extremely warm and this was without using the log burner. Everything had been decorated to a high standard and it was a pleasure staying here. Burley itself is a quaint little village with a couple of pubs, tea rooms and a few shops....

"Absolutely wonderful. Not a detail missed and many that I never would have thought of found. Probably the best equipped self-catering spot we’ve stayed at. Nice lounge with large flat screen TV, lovely dining table, big heavy drapes throughout, great collection of books to sift through (Including quite a few on Stonehenge). Very close (at least by car) to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge, easy to find."

"The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. The cottage was well equipped and spacious with modern amenities including a lovely coffee machine and range cooker. Unfortunately there were somethings that we felt could be improved on. "Fabulous stay, gorgeous barn, great location, very cosy would highly recommend. One small thing the bedrooms could do with having blinds as it’s very light in there especially if you’ve got young children"

"Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"
