"Bis auf Handtücher war alles da. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist nicht modern, sondern traditionell alt. Ich bin Hausstaub Allergiker und hatte keine Probleme. "Excellent property. The place was perfect for us. The unit was clean and better then the pictures and descriptions. It is located in the forested hills of the northern Black forest. The town of Bad Liebenzell was just down the hill with convenient access to shops, dinning, and groceries. There are more hiking trails then you can walk. Easily located just outside of Stuttgart. The host was very pleasant, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again. Thanks for a great stay."

"We found everything we needed for our four night vacation in the Black Forest. Easy to get to, easy to travel to neighboring areas with sites we wanted to explore, and the perfect respite after adventuresome days. I rented both units so we stayed in 1 and our other family stayed in 2. It was great to each have our own space for resting, but be right next door for communal dining and hanging out. "This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

On the plus side, it is modern and clean and it has a great setting, but I would highlight the following: 1. There are actually 2 houses and the pictures on the website show both, so only half the pictures will apply to the house you hire. "We hadden een prima week in dit prachtige huis in Dornstetten. Van alle gemakken voorzien incl hot tub en sauna. Het was heel ruim voor ons gezin van 6 personen, alle keukenapparatuur was aanwezig, er was hout (betaling per mand) voor de houtkachel en hot tub. Badkamers waren schoon en netjes. Communicatie met eigenaar ging heel soepel, vragen werden direct beantwoord, en ze was heel aardig en efficiënt. Een topweek was het resultaat. "

"Five of us stayed very comfortably. We could have easily had twice that many. There was a misunderstanding about towels and such. It was entirely my fault. This was my first experience with a self-service place and I didn’t read the instructions completely. Complicated by a bit of a language barrier. Otherwise, everything was perfect."

"Everything you could ever want in a house was fantastic for all ages couldn’t of had a better stay will recommend to all of my friends and family we did all our washing and drying perfect stay"

"A wonderful accommodation in a quiet, picturesque village within driving distance to many points of interest in the Black Forest. The accommodation itself is very well equipped and spacious for a large group. Nothing beats waking up to birdsong and postcard views every morning. My only gripe would be that most instructions in the property are written solely in German. Translated versions for overseas visitors would help greatly. Other then that, perfect."

"Wow what a hotel!! Our favourite place we have ever stayed in the world. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to assist us with whatever we required. The attention to detail was impeccable and the facilities were immaculate. Lastly the food was incredible 10/10! Thank you for the most wonderful stay we loved it!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Waldhotel Luise! The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and very nicely designed - a mix of cozy/rustic and modern feel. The breakfast was great, staff were friendly, and the hotel overall was really nice! It was a great base for us to visit the Black Forest area. Would recommend"

"Had a lovely stay and the outside of this hotel is very pretty. Was having a big extension built and in the morning, we were woken up by someone doing pipe or elctrical work above our room, not best pleased at 8.15am in the morning. Aside from this, the satff were lovely and we had a beautful dinner in the hotel restaurant, home made schnitzel - was delicious. Only used as a stop hotel on our way tot he Stelvio Pass so location was perfect"

"All staff, except the receptionist at the SPA, were very friendly and helpful, trying to make the guest feel welcomed. We liked a lot the view from our room, the mood in the hotel and the facilities."

"This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Lamm, the 2 previous times it was as a couple this time I was a solo traveller. I had a single room and was pleasantly surprised (not having stayed in a single room before) the room had a fridge that came in handy, and a view of the valley from the balcony. The balcony had a seat so could chill out on. The restaurant was fully booked but as was a resident they found me a table, the food was lovely. The hotel isn’t actually in Baiersbronn, it’s some 2.5 miles out. As I said this was the 3rd time there and would definitely make it a 4th"
