"Great stay. Good rooms "

"This is a large hotel but when we arrived there was no sign of life. Eventually, we found a guy cutting the grass who phoned his boss and managed to get the key. The restaurant was closed too so we had to go elsewhere to find a meal which could have been tricky in this rather remote location. However we did find a restaurant only about 15 minutes away. Our room at the hotel was clean and spacious. Next morning our friend on the lawn mower had laid on an excellent breakfast and we were sorry that we couldn't stay longer. I think the hotel often hosts large functions but this night it was empty and we were rather surprised that Hotels.com had booked us in,"

"Welcoming staff with great language skills made this an easy and relaxed place for an overnight stop. Easy parking, very comfortable room, and good breakfast. Excellent Michelin guide listed restaurant within 2 minutes walk - Casa Casutt. :)"

"The Saarbrucken B and B gives you a great view of the railway tracks if you are on that side of the hotel. But the noise did not bother me, even with the window open. It was surprisingly quiet most of the night except for a few huge freight trains. My room and bathroom were always kept clean and tidy. The room had all the basics, except for a proper enclosed wardrobe. I would have really liked that as opposed to the open rail with three hangers. The buffet breakfast was fine, with a good choice of cereals, fruit, meats, yoghurt, etc. And the location was great. Five minutes walk to the north end of the rail station central underpass. Less than ten minutes to the bus and tram stops at the south end. Less than twelve minutes to the major shops. "

"Room was clean & staff were friendly. They could have provided a double bed quilt & small fridge. Not very good signal for wifi Internet as because it went on going on & off. Bedside switch near the window side was faulty. Overall everything was fine."
