"My partner and I came to visit Alnwick for her birthday, and after a previous stay at a Premier Inn, we decided we wanted something with more character. The Hog’s Head Inn is a really lovely hotel, and considering it broke ground in 2011, has a feeling of being built in the 1800s, with the wood and stone decor in the main bar area. Rooms were a really good size, and very clean. Great water pressure from the shower (which is a big plus for us!) and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would happily recommend the Hog’s Head Inn to anyone staying in Alnwick, and my partner and I are very much considering visiting other Inn Group hotels in the future. "The host is very kind and brings a breakfast tray to order at an agreed time. The building is old and quirky with wonky floors, stairs etc, but decorated nicely and perfectly clean and functional. Good hot water pressure in the shower, even on the top floor. Parking was no problem while we were there, with the permit provided, but note the nearest parking bays are a short 2 minute walk away from the rooms, spaces are not specifically allocated and the public can park there (with restrictions). We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay there again on our next visit."
