"Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"We had a lovely stay at Bevan house, visiting the area to attend a wedding. The house was large and well equipped and the hit tub was really fantastic. Absolutely no issues at all and the property was clean and located in a beautiful spot. Very minor but couldn't find any scissors, other than this, no suggestions for improvement at all"

"The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. "Charming and well equipped cottage in a nice village. Plenty of space to chill and everyone slept well as the beds and bedding were very comfy. Nice walk around the village and lovely to hear the bells chime at the local church. Simon was a very accommodating host and the welcome hamper was much appreciated. The Nags Head in Canon Pyon (about an 8 minute drive) serves great food with a smile."

"I don’t know where to begin; certainly not at the beginning, we would be here too long considering the house dates back to the 14th century. If you are looking for something that screams old world and yet, maintains modern conveniences, this is for you. I am glad I had a kettle for my tea as opposed to swinging a pot over an open fire, though it still feels like you could be doing just that. "The house was lovely. Good sized rooms. Nice bathroom. Kitchen with everything in it you would need. A nice little courtyard garden for Warner weather. Only two of us stayed but could easily accommodate a family or two couples. The beds, pillows and duvets were particularly comfortable."

"A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat."
