"Positives: - Beautiful location near a lake, large swimming pool. Negatives: - Apartment I stayed in is in need of a refurb and missing amenities e.g only one hair drier in a 6 guests flat, no ironing board or anywhere to hang clothes in one of the rooms. - Poor service - booked a boat trip at the hotel’s marina through reception, on the day and time booked no one was there, had to call reception twice to be told boat needs maintenance. "Wonderful experience in this fabulous old palace. Stunning public rooms and gardens. The staff were superb. Restaurant was very good, also a very good buffet breakfast. We upgraded to a larger room with a view of the forest. Only slight issue was the lack of a fridge and safe in the room. Plenty of parking and easy to find."
