"The hotel is very good value for money, it's clean, right in the central area, has free coffee, tea and still/sparkling water by the reception. Breakfast is very good and included in the price. The room was a bit dated but overall was good with comfortable beds Staff is very friendly and helpful Swimming pool and sauna area is also quite good"

"Great location for bus and trains. Staff are excellent and we received a friendly response from Lisa when we checked in. She was informative and helpful. Evening meal was delicious and presented very well. We stayed 6 days and breakfast buffet was delicious and plenty of choices. Only comment was there is no decaf coffee. "Lovely hotel, old feel. Dinner of soup salad and bread included, as well as breakfast. Walking distance to train and beautiful Kalmar Castle. Food was great, room lovely. Staff made all the difference—lovely and welcoming. This hotel is a gem!"

"Excellent value for money. The key benefits about the hotel is its location and the free breakfast which is very good. That said, the rooms are VERY small. The lighting in the room is inadequate, there is no closet or shelves for clothes and just 4 electrical outlets in the room very inconveniently places. "The pictures do not do it justice. If you are from North America this will give you the ultimate cozy Scandinavian vibe. The lighting, candles even during breakfast, and room decor was such a welcome in the cold rainy days in October. It was bare bones with no conditioner, shampoo, hair dryer but still simple, cozy with warm people working there. The beautiful library is across the street and great to see. So quick and easy to the downtown centre. Centrally located. We loved our stay!!"

"This property suited our needs for an overnight stay. Parking was easy and convenient. They offered a breakfast buffet in the morning that was nice. The room was clean, as was the property. We never interacted with anyone, so if we had any questions, it might have been difficult. The area around the hotel seemed commercial, but we were just there for an overnight stay for nearby visit. "

"If you are with a family it's not the place to stay. The room is small with the tiniest toilet I have ever been in. I am not large built I found it extemely hard to sit on the wc. The reception closes at 9pm so if you are late and your cell phone is not working, you cannot enter into the building. Think twice a and Plan well if you want to book this place. "

Lots of space with 2 separate bedrooms (1 for adults, 1 with 2 singles for children) plus open area with Kitchenette / Lounge / Dining. "Ubetjent men fikk kode på sms ett par timer før insjekk - enkelt og greit. Nostalgisk gammel sjarmerende korridor, rent og fint helt ok rom - noen rom med en liten balkong som vi fikk - perfekt om sommeren. Nydelig innholdsrik frokost på hotel like i nærheten.Vi kommer garantert tilbake 😊"

"Die Hütte ist wie beschrieben, nur dass es keine Doppelbetten, sondern Einzelbetten gibt. Sehr schön gelegen in einem kleinen verschlafenen Örtchen. 10 Minuten fußläufig erreicht man den Strand, der sehr gepflegt ist. Eine nette kleine Fischräucherei befindet sich ebenfalls auf halbem Weg zum Strand."

Nice, budget & dog friendly

"Nice small and cheap. Perfect for a night if you are on your way to/from Kostaboda or taking the ferry from Oskarshamn. Breakfast was added for 50 SEK, simply but nice. Not if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences though. However there was access to a kitchen with fridge so extra budget friendly if you are bringing your own food. And dog friendly! Quite a small town so if you arriving in the evening don't expect anything within walking distance to be open. We found a pizzeria a 10min drive away though ."
