"Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-)."

"The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean as are all of the public areas. Very attentive and polite staff throughout our stay in all areas of the hotel. "A very central location. Lovely small, friendly hotel. Staff very helpful, spoke good english and nothing was too difficult for them to arrange. Small pool, sauna and spa were lovely. Due to its size they limit the number of guest so you need to book a hourly slot in advance. We quickly got in to the routine of booking the free hotel shuttle for the ski lifts and the spa after skiing if we wanted to go. Bar was nice for a pre-dinner cocktail. The hotel has a ski store room with heated boot racks...
