"The hotel is convenient for the harbour restaurants, marina, shopping and market. Staff very friendly on reception. Accessibility would be an issue - stairs into reception and a tiny lift. Bed comfy. Wardrobe and room very dated and made it look grubby even though regular cleaning and servicing of the room. Breakfast was included. simple and plentiful. Ok for a few days. "

"Lovely spacious apartment that was very clean and modern and high tech. The public areas were beautifully designed and clean and the property had a lovely rooftop terrace. However, sometimes the high tech appliances, such as the oven was difficult to operate so perhaps some instructions would be of help as we couldn't use it! "The staff were friendly and accommodating and the entire hotel was very clean. Excellent for the price we paid. Only room for improvement was that the wifi was very poor and we had to use mobile data. I think it would also greatly improve the rooms if they included a kettle and or a mini fridge for drinks snacks. (I know there is a communal kitchen, but this would be an upgrade)"

"I had a really nice stay here. The room was spacious, the bed/pillow was very comfortable, it was quiet and the curtains blocked out the light well. A kettle would have made the room better as I drink lots of tea but never mind. Breakfast was included and worth getting up early for. "The hotel is in a great location next to the promenade, great for walking, running and cycling etc. Not so good though if you want to be in the thick of the action. "Bad start to our stay. Booked a table for dinner on the first night. When we turned up to eat the table we had chosen had been allocated to a party of 6 and we were informed no one can book a table!! The member of staff who told us this was quite off hand and rude. "Villa Vik was a great place for a peaceful holiday with excellent accommodation, food and staff. Swimming in the pool was a real pleasure. Our only reservation was that there were too few staff on duty; often it appeared that just one person had to set tables, staff reception and serve drinks at the bar / pool. They did so cheerfully and helpfully but were stretched."
