"Tiara I think upgraded us to Room 100 which is suite. However, the door needed a key to open from the inside (to get out) which means we had to remove the key to operate the lights to use the key to open the door. When we do that, it s dark and can’t see the door. Luckily-our phone has a flashlight. Tiara meant well and we were just tired to be transferred to another room. Iyo and Tiara and Bruno were nice and very helpful."

"Let me start with the fact that I don’t like Naples. But this hotel is like an island inside the not so inviting city. Used to be a real palace that turned into a luxurious hotel. When you walk to your room you really feel the royal atmosphere. Everything is new, clean and of excellent design, inside and outside the room. "Lovely when you are inside (around the property leaves a lot to be desired). Stayed for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast had good choice of continental and cooked food - the staff however were not very attentive - in fact didn’t speak to us once. The roof pool was empty - probably a bit too early in the season for it. Felt like a bit of an oasis in the midst of rather dodgy area - convenient for the station though."

"It’s so hard to rate this property. The staff were fantastic, in particular Marcello on reception. The hotel is very dated and needs a makeover. A shower over the bath just doesn’t cut it these days. The area around the hotel is very dirty and seems unsafe, but I wasn’t harassed at all. There are lots of police and soldiers in and around the station. Overall, I’d go back again but some people may need to be wary of the location."
