"We recommend dealing with the property directly rather than through Expedia, as communication was excellent once we did so. The team was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The heating system and TV were a bit tricky to figure out at first, but everything worked fine once we got the hang of it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Happo One Gondola Adam—and very peaceful."

"This is a very basic hotel, catering mostly to young Australian tourists. It is extremely conveniently located next to the Happo One gondola and several popular bars / restaurants. The rooms are clean and generally the staff were very helpful, but the physical state of the building and the smell of diesel fuel is a little off putting. The breakfast is very basic but in the hotel’s defence, everything was pretty much exactly as described and the price reflects the value you get here. "

"I am already planning to come back to this property for LNY 2026!! It was everything I could have wanted for a quiet and relaxing yet exciting first ski trip to Japan! The place has this 1980s charm while having modern heating and toilets. Slope side to iwatake! Buses take you to all the other mountains. The onsen was heaven after a gnarly day on the slopes.
