"The hotel is beautiful! On the river with the gurgle sound of the river to fall asleep to. Ana, who checked us in, was the most wonderful person you could ever imagine. So welcoming and kind. "This might be a great place to stay (I am giving top ratings for some things I didn’t see) but I absolutely could not find it! The navigation in my rental car took me almost an hour away. Then some young men who were having a bachelor party helped me get navigation on my phone AND spoke to a helpful lady on the phone who offered to lead me in if I couldn’t find it. "Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

"Nice quiet place with lovely scenery and very comfortable rooms and large beds. The pool was a decent size, but the hot tub was not warm when we visited. Helpful staff as there are limiited dining options, so be prepared to drive somewhere to eat. Not easy to spot the entrance to the hotel. It is accessible via the double wooden door and an intercom as seen from google street view of the address. Would recommend for couples. "

"Can't say enough good things about the property but specifically the owners. They were kind, attentive and friendly. Made us feel special. This was the perfect place for us to stay as it was exactly halfway between Santander and the house we're renovating in the area. Highly recommended and will use this hotel as overflow property when multiple family and friends come to visit but don't all fit in our house.😂"
