"Beautiful area and property "

"An absolute "Slice of Paradise" in a beautiful wooded lot!! A gorgeous 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath immaculately clean, spacious home 10 minutes from Hidden Valley Ski Hill. It sleeps 12!! It has an extremely well equipped kitchen with everything you could ask for and an operational hot tub. The grandchildren loved the games room downstairs and the Karaoke machine!!! It was a wonderful family weekend . Would recommend the property to anyone."

"We truly enjoyed our stay. Home was exactly as described. Very spacious and well equipped. We loved the snow. It’s about 25 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park for skating and cross country skiing. We also hiked a 1.5 km trail near the house. "

"A well thought-out cottage space for two (and a pooch). Nice modernizations. Big backyard. Close to park and town. Thank you!"

"The cabin was equipped with everything needed to make us comfortable. Nice deck with a view of the water through the trees. Across the dirt road and down a staircase there is a dock, lots of deck chairs and an awesome private beach. We will definitely stay again."

"Cottage is even better than the pictures. Fabulous location with lots of parking. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms. We all enjoyed heated floors in bathroom as despite it just being October it was cool and we even saw some snow"

"I’ve just come back from 12 days staying at the Whitney House Retreat with my pups. This was the second time that I stayed at this place. I love the proximity to all the trails, not only those within Algonquin proper. It’s also a really nice location - you can listen to the beautiful sounds of the river while enjoying a backyard fire, barbecue, and the sounds of the birds & critters living in the forest behind the property. "When I was choosing a place to stay in Huntsville, a fireplace and hot tub were essential to relax after a day out in the cold. The Muskoka room has that. I also appreciated being able to cook meals.Excellent location, easy check-in. I was surprised this was attached to a home- I expected it to be a small cottage. Loved our stay though & will recommend to others. Thanks Michelle and Cody!"

"Lovely place, reasonably close to Limberlost Forest Reserve, great water entry. "

"There were a few minor functional issues which needed attention, but did not affect our stay, they were just annoying. It is quite possible the owner wasn’t aware of them; freezer handle coming off, plug coming apart in drain, a lot of leaves on stairs and walkways making it a bit slippery. "
