"8 travellers (1 couple and 6 individuals) stayed overnight on our journey through the white hill towns of Spain. The 7 bedrooms were perfect for us. 6 had AC, and there were 3 full baths. 2 on the first floor where only one bedroom was located, so it was nice to have 3 showers. There was no view from the house but it was very close to the top/end of town where a great view of the reservoir was had. There was ample TP and hand towels, bath towels for our brief stay. "We expected the property to be a lot bigger and with much more light/windows as per the photo on the VRBO website. As it turned out, this was a much smaller, dark and rustic house. It is a typical old Spanish townhouse in a small village in a beautiful location. It is not a luxury place in any way. Everything is very old and dusty. "This is a very nice rental and Andy is very communicative. The rental is very well-appointed and within walking distance of everything you want to see, although it's a steep uphill walk. (Ronda being on top of a hill, I suspect that most, if not, all rentals are this way.) We had two hiccups. Something was going on with the shower where we could barely get hot water, even though the tap would run hot. Andy was very responsive in trying to get it fixed, but we were only there two nights so it...

"We (family with 2 teens) spent 4 days in Mi Joya and we enjoyed the time there. The house is in really nice village, close to the city of Ronda. It was definitely better to stay in Montejaque than directly in Ronda, which is busy mainly during weekends. There are a few bars and restaurants directly in the village, as well as groceries. "We loved the way this house was decorated in traditional Spanish style. It was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Our Amercian GPS could not locate the house and the parking was a little tricky. But everything was a close walk, though a steep climb, from the doorstep. Might suggest more comfortable outdoor lounge chairs to better enjoy the lovely private patio. Thank you for a very special stay in Ronda!"
