"BUYER BEWARE No hot water and beach is dirty. I contacted Vacasa before confirming reservation to verify had hot water due to previous review. I was told I would have hot water but never did. The pool water was warmer than the shower. The company was notified as soon as we knew there was no hot water. Beach is very dirty due to ships waiting to get into port and dumping garbage while waiting. We did see monkeys and birds which were beautiful. Sorry for the bad review I tried to work with you."

"We came for a short 4 day vacation. It was our first time in Costa Rica. The host/homeowners were excellent in describing the property. Communication was good and especially since our flight was delayed. The location was great close to the airport and places to visit. My favorites part was enjoying the patio nightly. "Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at this house. There is no need for air conditioning being high up. No bugs at all! A lot of folks wrote comments about the steep road up to the house, which almost turned me off from booking it. The driveway is paved and while steep not an issue at all. Not sure why anyone would mention it. Fantastic place to rent. We will definitely be back. There are three rooms, each with their own queen beds and bathrooms. "

Clean place and there was a dishwasher which we realised during our trip was a luxury. The neighbours did have some parties which we could hear but we were there at new years. A knife sharpener would be good to have for the kitchen, as knives were extremely dull; glad I brought my Buck knife.
