"This was a trip down memory lane for us as we spent 10 years on Lake Martin prior to making the move to full time lake life on Smith Lake in 2019. We brought the family back down and did all the things we remembered: goat island, peanut point, Ice cream at Windcreek and most importantly ate Chuck’s pizza for lunch 2 days straight! "oct 26, '24. three nights. we have vrbo'd all around lake martin. point windy cottage is located on the north side of lake. we found this location to be the most convenient on the lake- scenic drives, restaurants, dadeville. everything was as described. whole rental process was smooth and owners are super. this cottage was a great place for us. porch has great view of its lake location. fall colors were at peak. very enjoyable.
