I would stay again such a beautiful building. Only one negative was the pigeon that sat on the vent to the bathroom singing to us but sooner that than noisy people."

However, the front-facing rooms are subject to significant traffic noise, making it difficult to keep the windows open. Breakfast offered a limited selection, and the pre-packaged muffins were disappointingly expired. While the coffee was acceptable, it wasn't exceptional. "This old pub/hotel is right on the high street. Although it doesnt have onsight parking we parked across the street which is free, there is also a near by car park. Burford house has a resturant, which serves well presented tasty food. There is also plenty of other places to eat on the high street. Burford house house has plenty of character, our room had a beautiful four poster bed, lead windows overlooking the high street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Burford is well worth a visit."
