"We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. A well equipped house and the fresh water pool was a delight. The views are lovely. Arie was a great host (don't forget to ask for directions). A great getaway location with easy access (30 mins by car) to Beaches, Porto, Amarante, River Duoro etc. There is much to do in the area: sight seeing, walking, riding bikes, train ride, swimming in the sea and rivers. Everyone we came across was very friendly. We'd love to come back!"

"The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We were 8 adults two children and one small dog in total. While on the ground floor the common area suited the group well, everyone couple/family had its own room and space upstairs. "We chose this property because of its geographical location and the photos. The geographical location was perfect with easy access to all the main towns. The photos show a secluded property with a pleasant terrace and garden giving the impression of peace and tranquility. Sadly the very busy and noisy main road right outside destroyed both. This was not just in rush hour but throughout the day and much of the night. Internally, the main bed was ludicrously short with ill fitting bed linen....
