"In a good area for getting around Portsmouth. Staff friendly and helpful. Only criticism is the shower door wouldn't stay closed and not enough space for hanging your clothes up. "

"Really friendly staff. Room was beautiful but the view was a slight disappointment due to the view as our room was at the back of the hotel. Bed was so comfortable and spacious and bathroom was very well laid out with a nice little touch of dressing gowns and slippers. Room did get a very warm at night but a fan is provided in the room. A few little cobwebs on the ceiling in the corner and a little bit dusty in places, but overall nice a clean. There was a party/wedding going on at the hotel, but the rooms are very well sound proofed as we didn't hear a thing. Would definitely stay again. "

"This hotel is always a good choice. Right in the heart of Gunwharf quays and the staff is very very good. Only negative is that it’s getting old and needs a bit of a mini refresher. "
