"Arrived during a winter storm and the owner worked with snow removal company to clear the driveway.. house was clean and had some of the best snowy mountain views I have ever seen.. waking up in the master bedroom to snow covered trees was just stunning.. hope to return soon (four wheel drive recommended in snow otherwise it’s fine) "

"Everything was very nice and well organized. The only issue was that the water had a VERY strong sulphur smell which did lessen on the 2nd night and day. I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors in awhile and that is why it was so strong."

"Pro: Beautiful area. New River Gorge is amazing. The house had everything you needed with a good layout. We couldn't have a fire due to the drought, but the firepit looked great. Also, because of the drought, the water levels were low but host provide 6 gallons of drinking water. Con: Directions to the property were not helpful and we had to call VRBO twice while driving around for an hour to figure out where to go. For future, please let guest know to follow the yellow arrow on the paved...

"Such a charming and cozy property. I knew when we walked along the garden path and entered to be welcomed by the kitchen hummingbird poster it was the place for us. The historic home was gorgeous -the wood floors and comfy furniture plus modern comforts mark this unique property. I can’t say enough about the quality furnishings, art, and other design elements. The live plants are another nice touch-beautiful! The local reading materials were great and so informative- we were reminded to visit...
