It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. "We were a group of 7 ranging from 24-86 & a dog - the cottage was an absolute home from home. Downstairs bathroom & bedroom meant my mum with mobility issues was comfortable. The tiled floors downstairs mean no worries about dirty feet and paws. The house is comfortable & homely, you don't feel like you are treading on eggshells as everything is well used (in a good way) so you're not scared about touching anything!
