"We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...

It's close to the beach and the other facilities in the Pedras del Rei complex but just minutes away from the motorway or the railway line, within walking distance of the great restaurants in Santa Luzia. Our daily delight was to lunch on the upper balcony in the sun with the neighbourhood domestic pigeon flocks circling for their exercise. "Nothing had been organised for our stay. Very unprofessional manager,Really bad damp and musty smell.Beds were wet, windows leaked during night. No coffee machine working, no wine glasses. Lamps in bedrooms crackled, fire hazard... the list goes on.. there is no entertaining space other than kitchen for 8 ppl thats crazy.."
