"First time I've ever left a review... In the main, couldn't fault the hotel at all. We had room ten which was far enough from the main area of the pub we didn't hear any noise at all. Room was really nice, cosy, comfortable & clean. No issues at all. Bed was super comfy & the shower was powerful. We had a wonderful time and I said I'd happily go back again. Breakfast wasn't too bad. Would have appreciated a lighter option like fruit and yogurt, but that was my fault for a weekend of over eating! "

"This was our second stay at the property. We received a warm welcome as usual and checked into our spacious family room. The hotel is clean but a little tired in places. We're happy to see that they are undertaking a refurbishment and look forward to seeing the results next year. The location is outstanding; a short walk from the beach and high street. The pool, hot tub and sauna are a fantastic bonus. Breakfast is lovely and plenty of it. We love our stays here and the character of an older property."

"Superb in every way. Warm and welcoming staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. Cosy but spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed. Fantastic home cooked food and plenty of it! A roaring log fire and honesty bar for drinks and snacks. The views are spectacular and although in a quiet location, within easy reach of the shops. "
