"We met with family for a long Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time at the house. It's exactly as described by the owner and it's exactly like the pictures. The communication and check-in process were every easy, the instructions for all the amenities were clearly written and understandable, the beds were all very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need, including some spices in case you forgot yours. The weather was a bit cold to spend much time using the outdoor amenities (there are many), but we did do a little fishing off the dock. There are lots of stores and restaurants only about 10-15 minutes away. We had dinner at Five Points Public House in downtown Albemarle and it was great. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor if you're looking for a lake house to rent. Not only is a wonderful setup with everything you could want, but from May to November the rental fee includes use of a very nice pontoon boat. "
