"The staff was very friendly and provided useful information about the area when we checked in. Having driven to the city, we parked at one of the recommended parking garages and took a cab to the hotel. Staying in the historical building was amazing! It’s definitely not an experience for someone expecting a new 5 star hotel. Plenty of noises from the street and from other rooms. For us, this was part of the charm and enhanced our adventure. When we opted to stay for a second night in Granada, the hotel was fully booked but was able to accommodate us in their apartment for a very reasonable rate. They moved our luggage for us while we were at the Alhambra and provided another excellent experience. If we come back to the city, I’ll check out their apartment as it’s more of our style. At the end of the night, my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the roof top terrace with our drinks and relaxed with a view of the Alhambra. "

"Absolutely loved the room. Very comfortable, nice surprise of a small fridge and a safe. Small disappointment there was no in room coffee/tea machine. Also no English language options at all on tv even for Paramount or American made movies. Reception and gastropub bar staff were friendly and helpful. "
