"The Maverick is a gem right next to the Riverwalk…and above Voodoo Donuts! We got an upgrade to the penthouse which is the sweetest suite. Great rooftop patio with view of the Alamo, river, and skyline. Very modern decor, helpful staff, comfy beds, superb location. Free breakfast taco and coffee at nearby Revolucion was a nice bonus. "
