The Al Jomrok hotel is a little different as it has rooms that are all internal with corridors running around the building with great views of the souk, the corniche and a small square. "The Arumaila hotel is a superb hotel in a great location. Our lady at the reception, Catarina, looked after us all very well. We were all impressed."

"Room space very big but the bed itself way too small you can easily change to Queen size bed instead, after long hot day outside I prefer to have a hot bathtub for relaxing which you don't provide. Entrance to the Hotel is quite difficult you may provide bell boy outside the hotel so guests don't have to drag their suite case along the road."

"The hotel is one of 5 'boutique' hotels located in Souk Waqif, owned by the same group, which entitles you to use all the facilities in the 5 different hotels. The rooms were larege and very comfortable, decorated in an elaborate traditional Arabic style (e.g. fringed cushions and velvet sofas). Although my preference is for more contemporary style rooms and comfort, this hotel would suite those with a preference for more traditional style. "Staff is incredible. Ms Nicole D’Souza excelled along with other ladies at the reception desk . They are an asset to this Hotel. This place needs a dedicated area for tourists during Ramadan . Too old to be sneaking a cig behind the hedge . Memories of High school came rushing back. It’s 15 minutes from the airport. Private taxi was 46 Qatar Rials. About 13.USD $. Hotel shuttle is free and leaves on the hour . There is a Tiny Mini Mart near the Metro Station which is quite convenient for basics . All drinks in Qatar are served by room service only- 15 USD $ for a bottle of Budweiser. Slightly more for hard liquor. I would stay here again. "
