"The property is situated right on the bank of the river Nile and our room had a view of the river. The roof top restaurant also overlooked the Nile. The room itself was large but very basic containing only a queen size bed and 1 small bedside cabinet. There was a closet to hang clothes. "We loved everything about this place. The owner helped with all the things we wanted to do. The room was amazing! Out of all the places we stayed on this trip. This was by far our favorite. The home cooked meals were a highlight of the trip. Tayeb and his staff made it feel like we were family. I highly recommend The Scorpion House. "

"The place was ok for this price but the bed was so terrible we couldn’t even sleep one night. We had a soup there which was brought from another place and we waited minimum 1 hour for it, and this was the worst soup we ever had. We also didn’t have a good experience with the sisha. "This is a beautiful place to stay. It is located on the West Bank about a 10 minute walk from the ferry. The room was spotless when I checked in. Beautiful view of the Nile. Staff was very friendly and helpful and was always available for any questions or assistance. Being located on the West Bank is an idea location since it is much more quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Luxor in the future."
