"Stayed for 2 nights and we were in awe of this absolutely beautiful hotel. From the furnishings to the architecture to the hotel grounds, everything was breathtaking. We loved our stay here. Marina, the owner was very welcoming and the staff were outstanding. We had all our breakfast and dinners at the hotel restaurants and the staff were extremely accommodating. Would love to return for a longer stay one day. Our photos don't do it justice. We stayed in the beautiful Ruby room."

"The hotel was well situated, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, one downside was the experience with the shops in the hotel-some of the shop workers were quite aggressive in trying to sell their products, which made us uncomfortable at times and wanted to avoid using the facilities. A little more space to browse freely would have made the experience much better. "

"Whilst I have obviously not stayed at every hotel in Luxor this has to be one of if not the nicest hotel in the City. If you have the chance eat at the 1886, I have eaten at 3 and 4 star restaurants in London and would easily put this on a similar level but at a fraction of the price. All the staff go out of there way to help and always with a great smile on their face"
