affordable luxury - everything was perfect
We loved it and we return to Tao for its peaceful and secure elegance every year. Our unit this time was absolutely wonderful. Well managed and maintained. Beautifully designed and furnished, spacious and comfortable and perfectly clean penthouse unit with private large rooftop area with very nice outdoor furniture perfect for dinner or cocktails, getting some sun or star gazing. The kitchen is open with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and thoughtfully stocked with basic seasonings, i.e. olive oil, balsamic vinegar, (a bit of coffee for the first morning) and filters, with all the pots and pans, plates, glassware and utensils, blender, microwave, gas range with oven, countertop purified water dispenser and more. The beds in the bedrooms are large and comfy, with adjoining bathrooms, (which are large and beautiful), and in the living room a huge L shaped sectional couch, which could be perfect for sleeping as well, if you brought the kids with you! . Importantly for us, the fiber optic wifi was fast and consistent and easily handled zoom remote meetings. We could walk to the fitness center to use the exercise machines or take free yoga classes. There are two beautiful infinity swimming pools within easy walking distance. The beach is a 10 minute drive and there's a nice beach club on the ocean with a full menu and drinks. Yes, the seaweed on the beach and in the water is more than anyone would like, but they work hard to keep the beach beautiful.
