"Excellent location right beside Morioka station. The staff was very good and the breakfast was good. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that I don't really like the machine-check in they've switched to. There are Front Desk staff standing right there watching me check in on the machine--it's very impersonal and probably a little less efficient because I didn't know the process clearly. "Excellent room Staff are helpful but cannot speak English. Comfortable place The only complaint was the food. It snowed on the night of arrival and the next day we decided to use the hotel dinning. There plenty of choices but the food are not as fres at other places and was quite expensive . We later found reasonably close by restaurant which are actually cheaper. "

"I missed checking in because I did not catch the shinkansen. Nevertheless, when I called to try to cancel, the lady at the other end of the line was extremely helpful and did her best to provide the best service. Although cancellation was not possible because it was done through Expedia (who by the way was not responsive at all), they offered to accommodate us the next morning to eat breakfast and stay in the room until checkout time st 11AM."

"Love the staff. They tried their best to speak English, and are extremely friendly. We got a few things from the souvenir shop, which was great to bring as gifts for friends and family. The room was spacious. I book a remodeled room but the bathroom seemed a bit outdated. The food was fine for what they had. The relaxation room was great with free ice cream, soda and tea. Overall I am satisfied with my stay."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this onsen to anyone visiting morioka, even if for a couple of nights only. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was the best we had experienced before in any hotel or onsen. We were picked up from the bus stop with a shuttle service run by the hotel, which was fantastic. We had booked the room with the private onsen and it was just perfect. "Pretty close to Morioka Station, this hotel is clean. The available carpark is not free and quite limited in spaces. Not really suited to families as there weren't any family rooms available. It's called Hotel Jin Morioka Ekimae, but it's really behind the station which is a quieter area with minimal dining and shopping."
