The facility is new, a huge living & dining area compare to Nasu where we stayed a year ago. "We thought that the location was great. Right across the station. Walking distance to some restaurants and shops. The daily Japanese breakfast was delicious and convenient. Would definitely stay here if we decide to come back to Aizuwakamatsu again."

"Higashiyama onsen is a lovely, narrow canyon on the outskirts of Aizuwakamatsu. The red and blue sightseeing buses stop within 150 yards of the hotel. The onsen baths are not too hot. The food is great. Our room was a regular one and was spacious. All in all it was a very nice place. "

"The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good to have smaller pillows available in the room. I ended up rolling up a towel to make a smaller pillow. Meals were included in the stay and there was plenty of variety. Only real bummer is that I think I left my Prescription Progressive Glasses in the room and can't get anyone to pick up the phones & check!"
