"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."

"Beautiful accommodation and location. Well equipped house, which needed a little decorating. The house was warm and cosy. We loved the drive over the pass down to Glenelg. The lock and view of Skye were spectacular. I loved watching the seals just off shore."

"The name says it all, what a view. The View is centrally located and allows you to see the other locations on the isle. The house is in an isolated area but the are two restaurants within a short distance. There is a grocery store within a 10 minute ride. Of the 6 different places we stated in Scotland over our 14 day trip, we loved this one the best."

From the entertaining boat captain, Gus, to the modern decor of the cottage (with stunning views), this is the perfect destination for family/small-group gatherings or a quiet place to just unwind. "Property is well appointed and has a lovely view. Kitchen well thought out and well equipped. Clean and well looked after. Overall very satisfied, and its nice just to sit in the room and look at the view. The moored boats change every day. It can be made eve better by providing an EV charging point and a place to keep bikes secure, although you can hang a cable out of the window for 3kW car charging and bikes can be left outside with a bike lock. Not suitable for pets or children due to cliff...
