"The location was up very high and very winding roads. Due to being up so high this made the weather unsettled. There wasn't any WiFi to the villa which we had to use the owners which didn't work by the pool. The pool was becoming quite dirty through the week. There are alot of steps to the villa so make sure you are fit!! Maybe if the weather had been better it would of made it more enjoyable. It was a nice villa just wouldn't stay there again. Tossa de mar is lovely!!!"

Supermarkets, restaurants, and the beach are all less than 15 minutes away. Joan was a wonderful host and was in communication with us throughout our stay. "The stone villa is one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had and may ever have. It’s located in a castle town in the middle of the beautiful country side. The house is large and the pool is nice if it’s hot outside. The only negative is that the bedroom and hallway on the kitchen floor has a strong sewage odor. It was hard to be in that area and this issue should be addressed. "

"We spent the first week of August in Tossa de Mar, at Sailor House. It is a spacious house, equipped with what we needed for our stay. The views from the upper terrace are fabulous. Walking distance from the beach, stores and restaurants. Keep in mind it is located up on a hill, it can be a bit of a challenge. "Excellent stay. The house was lovely and stocked with all the dishes and glasses / pots and pans you could need. The coffee makers were ideal. The outdoor kitchen was amazing, we rarely used the indoor one. Also stocked with all the condiments you could wish for. Having said all that, there is a great beach bar/resto within 2 mins walk and clearly in the summer there are more. Jose the host was charming and accommodating when we had a flight delay."
