"Jerusalem was quite different this year from previous years. I was at several hostels, it was a rule rather than the exception that there was nobody at the reception when I tried to check in. At this one I had to sneak in and wait for about an hour before anyone came. The place didn't feel like a hostel anymore. There were very few tourists or travelers; the hostel was occupied by guest workers from India, none of them spoke English or Hebrew."

"The location can't be beat. It is right across the street from Mahane Yehuda Market. Our apartment faced the street, so it could be noisy, especially at night, but I actually enjoyed seeing and hearing the nightlife. I absolutely loved the location. Cleanliness was so-so.
