"We chose this VRBO to be near birding sites. And as soon as we arrived we were greeted not only by a variety of birds but also by Nellie, its lovely host/owner who gave us an orientation to the property and information about places nearby of interest. We loved enjoying our morning coffee with the birds from the covered, beautiful patio. Everything we needed was there and we loved our stay."

"We had a lovely stay in this well appointed condo. Manager quickly responded to any concerns, well stocked kitchen and coffee bar. Gorgeous Southwest colors with a colorful lite tree in living area which gave a lovely glow in the evening. Large pool area with beach towels for 4 guests. Nice quiet environment with the darling town of Tubac close by for shopping, dining and golf. Furnishings were comfortable and nicer than most rentals. There’s a gorgeous rooftop patio you climb a spiral staircase to see the stars at night. Lots of seating for all to take in the desert and its glory. One odd note, it’s a 2 bedroom condo, sleeps 4, however in the living room there is only a sofa for sitting to relax by fire and watch tv. So my only suggestion is to add additional seating in the living area. Other than that, pretty perfect getaway "

"This corner of the Barrio was just fine to stay in. Family in Tubac came to visit, and they enjoyed sitting by the grill and the 2nd floor balcony. I would definitely come back to this rental when visiting Tubac. "

"A perfect location. We (2 of us) came to Tubac (mid to late March 2025) to relax and enjoy the art and the desert. We did that and more. The neighborhood is very quiet at night and the stargazing off the back patio-mwah! We would stay here again. Jim the Host is terrific. He texted in shortly after we landed to determine arrival and instructions to meet. Very affable and got us quickly situated. He was immediately responsive to our texts throughout our stay and very helpful. He is also the owner of Tubac Jack's, a restaurant and saloon downtown-we can recommend the pomegranate margarita! The home, although older, was spotless. It is spacious and comfortably appointed. TV, books, and puzzles are available. The kitchen is tiny but we found everything we needed and all in good order. Master bed very comfortable with soft sheets. Walk in tiled rain shower with plenty of hot water and stacks of towels. Front and back outdoor spaces could accommodate sun or shade and inside remained perfect temperature even with hot days. Be aware that the W/D is not located in the home, but a short walk to the shared laundry room-not a big deal and it is free. Parking is plentiful just across the street. The home is adjacent to the Golf Resort with either a great restaurant/bar or the cantina for a quick stop. Shops, spa, and golf round out the resort. It is only minutes to drive into the center of Tubac but if you are inclined it is an easy and peaceful walk as well. We definitely recommend!"

"The property was quiet, clean and had incredible views. Exactly as the listing shows. The pool, spa and sauna are incredible, even has a private outdoor shower. The house had everything we needed and more. The owner was fantastic, from pre booking assistance, clear & concise information about the location, amenities and fast responses. They asked for feedback about our stay, what they could do better and graciously received our inputs. This one goes on our list of future return visits. Thank you!"
