"After our stay we did not get our €500 deposit back and they took another €150 from my credit card. They emailed saying that they’d taken it because of a “damaged or thrown away cot”. There was no cot in any of the rooms when we got there so we definitely did not damage one or throw one away. I have tried to contact the owner to dispute this but they are ignoring me. I raised this with Vrbo over a week ago and they told me they have escalated the issue but I’m currently down €650 which I cannot...

"Really enjoyed our stay at Steve’s place. As two families (3 adults and 1 teenager and 2 younger kids) there was plenty of room inside for us to have our own space. The outside space was amazing and the kids loved the pool (despite the cool October water!) The location was ideal with bars, restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance. Communication with Steve before and during the trip was excellent. We’d definitely return and would recommend to anyone."
