"The room was amazing! The architecture of the building was preserved and the interior wall still had the original brick work. This property is centrally located near shopping and food. Kostas is a great host. He knows the history of the island and gives great suggestions as to where to eat and what to see. We will definitely visit Syros again and we will book this hotel again. "

"Ideal location from ferry terminal and easy to find. After a long journey from the UK, this was exactly what we needed. A friendly welcome from Nicos, who then made sure we had everything we needed. The views and breakfast were amazing. The room had lots of homely touches and the toiletries sublime (esp. the honey shampoo). "Beautiful old building, allowing you to experience what an old “archontiko” would be like. Perfect location for us, but there are some steps that cannot be avoided. Staff are simply wonderful and incredibly kind. With a few simple changes this place can become exceptional. Our A/C unit was pretty old and was not doing a good enough job. Room amenities could be improved. A bottle of water in the fridge for example would be very much appreciated."

"The hotel and staff were excellent and did try to accommodate my food choices (I’m vegan ). Generally I think more vegan options could be made available now we are in 2024 and vegans are more common. Even non vegans choose plant based sometimes. Anyway the hotel was lovely. We did feel under pressure to leave at 11am precisely at check out time but did appreciate the lift to the port area. I would recommend this hotel highly however. "
