"The staff here are super friendly and helpful. There are both a bus line and a ferry that are easily accessible. The hotel is located in a walkable area with restaurant options, little stores, bakeries, etc. The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, although more low carb options would be a great addition. I found it to be very clean and well kept. The property does not have a public pool, but there are wonderful beaches not too far of a drive away. They do have one upscale suite that has a small private pool. I really like this property, and the staff really makes this the very best place in my opinion. The owner of this property also owns other locations, some in the heart of Chania, if you like being in the city. If you call this property and tell them what you are looking for, they will do their very best to find the best accommodations for you at one of their properties. I love these people! I will continue to be a patron of theirs."

"The family who own the property were so welcoming, chatty and very helpful. They booked a trip to the Samaria gorge for us, gave advice on beaches, walks and buses to Chania. The property and pool area was very clean and hosed down daily. The rooms were spotless. We would recommend staying here."

"This resort is incredible! It's beautiful, on the beach, in a great location, & the breakfast was amazing!! The buffet was huge with so many selections. The spa & pool area were wonderful, you really felt like you're on vacation with things such as a swim up bar, chairs on the beach and 2 pools to choose from. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. The staff were so friendly, especially the swim up pool bartender. The upper outdoor lounge had music and places to sit, watch the sunset & enjoy apps and drinks. I highly recommend staying at this resort!!"

"The property is outstanding, very clean and beautiful. The bathrooms are a bit outdated but very clean. The exterior, pool, garden area are beautifully set up and very zen. It’s not very close to anything other than 2-3 restaurants so you need a car. But coming back to this spot after your day on the beach or any other place feels really good! "

"The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The balcony had fantastic views and we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine. Everywhere around the property was very well maintained, the seiipool was very clean and the owners friendly and helpful. "

"We had a really relaxing time at the Kalyves beach hotel. What wasn’t clear to us at booking was the “all inclusive” and “all inclusive welcome gift” option. We went for the latter which gave us the “all inclusive plus” package at the hotel and was well worth the small extra cost, giving us unlimited cocktails, room upgrade and discount on the spa. Excellent value for money and still easily got enough for us (27c) at the end of September. The buffet food selection was great for us too as we could pick and choose what we wanted. We loved the stay and the entertainment in the night arranged by Momo was excellent too. Everyone was so friendly and keen to help we felt so looked after and pampered! Fully recommended!"
