"This is a nice chilled-out venue with a lovely pool and rooftop restaurant. The staff are attentive and always on-hand during the day and evening. The property has a nice 'summer home' feel about it. There is a local mini market 50 metres away and some nice tavernas 200 metres up a slight hill. The main road into Chania has a few miles of tourist shops, which will suit some people more than others. You can get a bus into Chania easily enough. It would be unpleasant to walk that far on a hot day. We rented a car for the week and this was a great location to get to the beautiful beaches of western Crete."
