"My family of 6 and I stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday. My 80 yr old parents live in Southampton but we decided to rent instead of burdening them w/guests. The house had a great layout on the first floor w/everything needed for the holiday, which was great. Walkable to town and Tate's Bake Shop, definitely a plus. Beautiful neighborhood. Some bumps, though: we struggled with getting into the house; no front door key given -- we accessed the home through a garage side-door electronic lock. Was an underwhelming arrival for over a thousand dollars/night in the off season, to be honest, and it took us 2 days to finally figure out the finicky lock. Heat: we were instructed to keep the heat no higher than 70* in the book of house rules, but it was in the 20's when we visited, and this was not realistic as the thermostat struggled to even stay at 67. The house was chilly. The owner was polite and apologetic but nevertheless, it made for a cold vacation. 4th bedroom: The 4th bed is directly off the master. We planned to use all the bedrooms for our kids, but what teenagers want to be connected to their parents' bedroom, and vice versa! And that bedroom, located over garage, was very cold. No one ended up sleeping there. If we'd brought friends with us, this would have been a pickle. All in all, I would stay here again in warm weather and with fewer children/no need for that 4th bedroom. It's a beautiful home and feels welcoming. Spotless as well! "

"We loved our stay! The location was perfect for our family, so easy to walk to town, close to the beach and easy to get to other towns. House was perfect as well, we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors due to rain but loved the indoor space. Plenty of places to hang and enjoy/relax. Hoping to visit again soo!"

"There was no hot water for half of our stay. Daniel from StayMarquis was helpful, but the emergency line did not call us back. Also a breaker needed to be reset the second night when we returned from an excursion. This impacted out stay for the price that we paid. I wrote a detailed email to the resolution department outlining these issues in hopes to be find a reasonable solution given the issues we faced, but unfortunately after 3 1/2 weeks, I have not received a response! The house is a nice size, with a beautiful kitchen stacked with all the things you would need. The beds were comfortable. The backyard is beautiful (we stayed in November), and looks like an amazing space to spend some time in the warmer months. The dining room was large enough to hold everyone who stayed in the size of the home to share a meal together. I understand that an older home in the Hamptons may experience some hiccups with a breaker or a pilot, but it was the lack of communication in the resolution process that has left me baffled. For the pricing of this upscale, luxury rental, the basic amenities should work. Unfortunately, with the realties of a rental home, people may be faced with unforeseen situations during their stay, but one would expect a company to want to ensure their customer was satisfied and eager to remedy the unexpected. This was not the case for my experience. "
