"We chose the bee keeper's cottage for our weekend landing spot during a week of college tours in the Pacific Northwest. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this spot in Gig Harbor. It was such a perfect respite for the weekend, allowing us also to easily explore the Harbor as well as drive into Seattle and take a ferry to Bainbridge Island. Some older kitchen supplies, a couple of clean but stained towels, couch well used.We bought a vacuum as we were a long stay.It suited our needs, had a pretty view, and we would stay there again. We bought a vacuum because we long stay."

What was surprising is that the area is upstairs, inaccessible to handicapped persons. Full bath downstairs and nice office space. "We had such a nice time, we stayed an extra day. This was the perfect getaway home to spend a casual thanksgiving weekend in. A quiet, comfy home right on the edge of the inlet was so perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, and the hosts replied quickly to my questions. As far as location, you aren’t right in Shelton, which is great. We visited, but definitely preferred the quiet of this location. Thank you! "

"My husband and I had a rare 3day off at the same time. All we wanted was quiet, nature and a hot tub, and we enjoyed just that. The cabin is adorably rustic, feels secluded and comes with most necessities. Comfy bed, fire pit, multiple areas to sit and relax and the hot tub (with robes!) didn't disappoint. The properties trails, the welcoming owners and the "local animals" were a huge bonus. "
