"This is a beautiful hotel that’s only been re-open after being rebuilt for a few years. The room was beautiful. The dining was excellent. The only complaint we have is that the building heating system is very loud and makes noise continually. It may have been worse because we’re on the second floor, and we had vaulted ceilings in our room, and maybe it wouldn’t bother other people in the same way, but it did affect the quality of our sleep."

"The main great room/lobby of this old historic hotel is pretty much worth it all. Spectacular views and a comfy relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was meh. But it is historic so that’s part of the deal. The point is to spend your evenings down in the great room that is equipped with many chairs, sofas and tables for reading, playing cards, having a drink and looking out at the amazing scenery. There is a good restaurant right off the lobby and also a really nice bar where you can have lunch,...

"The east side of glacier is a great place to stay to be close to many of the best trailheads. St Mary Village did not disappoint. Worked out very well for us."
