"The efficiency is well situated in town and right on the rail trail which is great for cross country skiing and biking. Very pleasant and easy and the hosts recs are also great."

"We come up for a long weekend despite a forecasted snow storm, and thoroughly enjoyed hunkering down in this sweet space. Don and Perky were lovely hosts, ensuring our kids had plenty of storm entertainment and making great local recommendations. Thanks for a great stay!"

"This was my first stay, the check in process was easy, and the room was clean and made up for my arrival. The only issue, was my room did not have any hot water, so showers were challenging. But besides that a great location"

"We had the property to ourselves with the exception of guests of the restaurant. Was a beautiful and relaxing weekend for my wife and I to lay in bed and reconnect."

"It has been 51 years since I spent a semester at the White Pine Camp as a student at Paul Smiths College. The place has been tastefully updated and has lost not one iota of the charm and ambience that makes this place so magical. Tim and staff made the visit all the more special. Can't wait to visit again!"

"I booked this for my wife and I, our two sons (2 & 5 years old), her dad and my dad. It was a nice secluded and quiet spot, and it had everything that we needed for our trip. Whiteface mountain was about 15-20 minutes away and Lake Placid about 25-30. Lana was a great host. Communication was easy and she made sure to show us the house and let us know where everything was."

"We were very happy with the cleanliness. We loved the beds and we loved the little European look to the room. Definitely will consider staying again if we are up around that area."

"Spacious place and gorgeous view of the creek. Stylish and comfortable furnishings. Just perfect for our traveling group of 3 friends. "

"The place was nice but, very small for a family of four. The shower was super small and the floor in-front of it felt like it might cave in. The beds were nice and the coffee was nice. We didn’t use the fire pit but, that was nice as well. It is very rustic like a lot of places in the area. But, we’re able to do what we needed to do."

"Very pleased with amenities - full kitchen (including dishwasher) and lots of pans, dishes, implements. Responsive two-zone heating. Elevator. Excellent location in center of town - easy walk to restaurants, shops, attractions. Free parking (good deal since town has paid parking). Price was competitive for area. Only negative was the lots wasn’t plowed well - lots of deep ruts with ice, slush, hard snow. We will definitely return!!"

"We have been multiple times now and really enjoy the property and area. Beautiful lake and some local things to do and it is centrally located to many surrounding areas. Staff has been great each time. The most recent visit it was obvious they have continued to improve the guest experience with new activities that we did experience on prior visits. It is obvious there has been a large investment in the property. But the one negative is the main hotel rooms feel a bit like a dormitory. They aren’t bad by any means but there is just something missing, not getting that warm “lodge” feeling from it but certainly not a deal breaker. We will be staying again."

Nice 3 night getaway.

"Fun stay. Lots to do. Loved the room and lobby. Clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Comfortable bed , nice sitting room with couch in our room. Breakfast was a little skimpy. No phones in room. Only internet tv. Would stay here again. Good location to walk to sites and restaurants and shops. "
