"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. "Our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Our room had a small veranda. The owners made us very welcome, and gave us good advice. The Hochschwartwald card was excellent allowing us to visit Freiburg, Titisee and Donaueschingen by train and take a boat tour of the lake, all at no cost. We were really lucky to have found this small hotel."

The AC was none existance and on 49F temp evening the room was 73F inside! They switch us to another room at 11pm, but temp was probably 70f blowing hot air . Their Wify was Very Slow!"
