Excellent hotel and staff and location

An excellent hotel, really smart and spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful, every one of them. The food was fabulous every day with good variety. The location on the SW of the island is perfect for watching a lovely sunset over La Gomera each evening. €40 taxi to/from the airport takes under 30 minutes.

Our first time here since COVID, it was as nice as it had been previously. There had been some nice improvements in the decor and drinks very reasonably priced. Staff were excellent and nothing was a problem. The only 2 observations of a negative nature, no half board allowance at the fish restaurant was a disappointment and the infrequent nature of the shuttle bus, given the fact the hotel is at the top of a hill.

Incredible hotel, service and grounds! From arrival drinks, taking our luggage and welcoming to our room, from daily room cleans, turn down service and room amenities such as clarins products and toiletries, everything was perfect. We were lucky enough to have a free upgrade on arrival too. Easy and free parking! Worked out cheaper us renting a car for the stay rather than the transfers. The service was impeccable. Attentive and friendly staff and pool service with a good selection of food and drink which were reasonably priced. Definitely deserves the 5 stars and would absolutely stay here again. My only feedback as an area of improvement would be the cocktails (and we tried almost all of them). They looked amazing however the mixers/ juices were all very sugary and didn't taste like the traditional cocktails. The pina colada being the exception, which was fantastic!

We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s an ideal place to stay for a few quiet days of relaxing in the sun by one of the pools. There are beaches not far off, but the hotel is on a hill, so the walk can be hard work in hot weather, although the hotel does offer a shuttle service. The rooms a lovely, although old fashioned, but very clean and comfortable - excellent comfortable beds. Also terrific buffet breakfasts to be enjoyed alfresco and I’d recommend half board as the evening meal (also a buffet) is worth having. We will return!

Nice hotel but the room was quite outdated

Overall a nice hotel but the room wasn’t all clean, there were a lot of stains on the walls and the room seemed quite outdated in other ways too. We stayed during the high season so the price was hefty so maybe that’s why we felt like it wasn’t worth the price. If you are looking for a 5 star experience this is probably not the place for you but it’s a nice 4 star hotel -type of an experience.

Fabulous hotel with exceptional staff. Pool area is perfect with plenty of room for everyone. The breakfast and dinners buffets are varied and the quality of the food and service are outstanding

Very enjoyable stay

Very nice hotel, lovely sunbathing spaces and pools, attentive friendly staff. Our slight negatives, our side view balcony room had a solid wall to the balcony so when sat down or on sunbed on balcony there was little view to be had. We got food cooking smells early morning from the kitchen , they were preparing breakfast foods, there was little evening entertainment apart from musicians playing in the evening buffet. Walk into town and seafront easy going down hill but more taxing on the return journey uphill. They did have a free shuttle both ways so we booked the return journey three times which was free of charge. Overall a very nice hotel we would happily stay again.

Very good stay. Reception staff excellent. Porters and concierge excellent. Room very good - cleaners prompt and efficient. Restaurants very good. Bar service could have been better in the evening - slow to serve.
